چکیده

Objective: To assess the prognostic value of platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte (NLR), lymphocyte-to-monocyte (LMR), and systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) in locally advanced cervical squamous cell carcinoma (LACSC) treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) regimens. Methods: The contribution immune inflammatory response markers (NLR, PLR, LMR, SII), cells (lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes, platelets), hematocrit predicting outcomes treatment LACSC patients was examined using Kaplan-Meier univariate survival analysis method. Variables that were significant for included multivariate regression to confirm independent factors affecting patients. Results: Univariate showed age (p = 0.024), PLR 0.007), NLR 0.089), LMR 0.021), SII 0.087), Hb 0.004) all OS (over survival). Multivariate revealed 0.066) 0.045) before risk studied population. Moreover, these two significantly correlated (correlation coefficient Rs –0.426, p 0.000). Conclusions: results suggested elevated anaemia are likely have poorer prognoses who initially received radical CCRT. pre-treatment anemia status may exacerbate effects PLR.

Prognostic Value of Neutrophil-Related Factors in Locally Advanced Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma Patients Treated with Cisplatin-Based Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy

The aim of this study was to explore the relationship between neutrophil-related factors, including neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and the responses of neutrophil to granulocyte colony-stimulating factors (RNG), and the prognosis of patients with locally advanced cervical squamous cell carcinoma (LACSCC) undergoing cisplatin-based concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCCRT). A total of sixty LACSCC...

EGF and EGFR genetic polymorphisms predict prognosis in locally advanced pharyngolaryngeal squamous cell carcinoma patients receiving postoperative concurrent chemoradiotherapy

BACKGROUND Epidermal growth factor (EGF) and its receptor (EGFR) are part of an important signaling pathway that is involved in the pathogenesis of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN). We hypothesized that EGF/EGFR genetic polymorphisms might have a prognostic impact on disease-free survival and overall survival (OS) in locally advanced SCCHN. MATERIALS AND METHODS The patien...

Impact of adjuvant hysterectomy on prognosis in patients with locally advanced cervical cancer treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy: a meta-analysis

OBJECTIVE Few data exist regarding adjuvant hysterectomy (AH) in locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) patients treated with chemoradiotherapy. We investigated the effect of AH on prognosis in LACC patients, through meta-analysis. METHODS EMBASE and MEDLINE databases and the Cochrane Library were searched for published studies comparing LACC patients who received AH after chemoradiotherapy ...

ERCC1 mRNA levels can predict the response to cisplatin-based concurrent chemoradiotherapy of locally advanced cervical squamous cell carcinoma

BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the excision repair cross-complementation group 1 (ERCC1) mRNA expression could predict treatment response of patients with locally advanced cervical squamous cell carcinoma (LACSCC) who underwent cisplatin-based concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCCRT). METHODS A total of sixty LACSCC patients, treated with radical CCCRT from a sing...

Treatment Outcomes of Patients with Locally Advanced Synchronous Esophageal and Head/Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma Receiving Curative Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy

The present study investigated clinical outcomes and prognostic factors of patients with locally advanced synchronous esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and head/neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) receiving curative concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT), and determined whether synchronous ESCC/HNSCC patients had worse prognosis compared to isolated ESCC patients. Using propensity score m...
